Posted: 10 Apr 2021 07:55 PM PDT Hi, I was curious on everyone's thoughts on ladder only rune words along with uber tristram being brought to single player. Do you think it should be done, or shouldn't? Why? It's looking like the current plans are to not bring any of this content over, to keep an incentive to play ladder. | D3: A Linear Comparison of the Relative Power of Class Sets Posted: 10 Apr 2021 10:34 AM PDT With exponential GR scaling, it can be unintuitive to wrap your head around how the power of class sets compare to one another. I pulled the top GR clears from NA NS on 2021-04-09 and 'normalized' them to P7500, then plotted them on a linear scale (each GR level requiring roughly 17% more relative power to clear). The attached chart is the result. For example: This means the Masquerade set (top spot GR150 @ 7500P) is around 100x more powerful than the Raekor set (top spot GR112 @ 3300P). I'm no game designer, but it seems reasonably feasible to me to get all class sets within roughly 30% (2 GRs) of each other. This came from the BlizzConline 2021 Diablo II: Resurrected press-kit.
The First Technical Alpha is going on as I type this (4/8-11/21).
The game is the game I remember plus a little more. There's nothing but positive things I can say about this game. I also dig the seamless transition from the old game and the new game too.
I hope people enjoy this game again or even more so when it goes live in full.
(I just hope they fine-tune the looks of some of the characters eventually).

| Posted: 10 Apr 2021 10:19 PM PDT I have seen that it is possible to download costume huds for Diablo 3, that show much more interesting and life of quality things (Like mods in World of Warcraft). But is it allowed? Or can blizzard punish us for using mods that only give us more information? The mods don't play the game for us or anything. Only show more information and apply more quality of life in the game. If I download it, is it possible to get punishment? Or should I just ask Blizzard directly, so I can be sure?
