    Weekly Consolidated Gear Advice Thread

    Posted: 24 Dec 2020 08:04 AM PST

To reduce clutter on this subreddit, please post your gear check questions in this thread only.

Please note that independent gear check threads will be deleted with a note to copy/paste that gear check here.

In order for others to provide useful feedback on your gearcheck, you MUST include the following information:

    • Your desired build

    • A link to your battle.net profile

    • A description or screenshot of how your paragon points are spent

    • A description of your what you want to accomplish with the gearcheck - e.g. your goals and/or problems - a grift difficulty level, ubers, a specific build or playstyle, etc.

    • An in-game screenshot of your stats with the details tab open is recommended, but not required - if we can see your dps, toughness, all resist, armor, hp, cc, cd, etc. as you see it in-game, it's easier for us to help you.

If you use printscreen and paste, it will show your desktop. But if you use printscreen and go into your Documents/Diablo III/Screenshots folder, you will find the in-game screenshot.

ANY post that does not include this information may not receive a response.

In addition, if you haven't done so already, take a look at the guides in our sidebar. Many of your questions will have been answered there.

Thank you, and may your sentries clear a path to victory!

Please note: The consolidated gear check posts are created every week (Tuesday) at approximately 2 PM GMT (7 AM Eastern)

Why did we not get BETTER LOOKING GOLEMS.

    Posted: 24 Dec 2020 07:48 AM PST

I wish upon a star that they could come out with an update that can let us transmog our golems. Well, I really wish golems would have looked more like the classic D2 Lod golems but modern. Like I gotta say, a new round shaped fireball fire golem (even some kind of Earth or Lightning golem) would be sexy and it woulda made alot of ppl happier than these ugly ass walking bags of trash… well, with the exception of the cold golem I suppose. But these things look like the retarded little brothers of the gargantuan ... Or the prime evils real real dumb little cousins . I miss my round Golems. And actually, I was wondering what ppl think about a earth golem? That could use a skill like the D2 paladins "Charge" where he rolls into a rock ball and charges MF's ?

Anyone else got some cool ideas on how D3 can be spiced up? Man, if it wasn't an online game, there would probably be some wicked mods already.

Can someone rank those 3 properties (Increased Damage to Elites, Area Damage, Cooldown Reduction) from best to worst on weapon for Shield Bash Crusader? Personally I think cooldown reduction is best because it increases all damage directly thanks to Crimson and makes Akarat Champ uptime 100% always.

Spirit Barrage Barber explosion DON'T do Area Damage?

    Posted: 20 Dec 2020 08:24 AM PST

I've read this on the MaxRoll.gg guide for the Mundunugu build.

Keep in mind that if you intend to push to the highest Tiers in solo with this build, it can be extremely RNG dependant. The highroll-potential is extraordinary, meaning you can do extremely well in the good rifts and extremely terribly in the bad rifts. The build itself does not benefit from Area Damage as most others (as The Barber explosion has a proc-coefficient of 0), however it nominally replicates Area Damage with its AoE-explosion in the end.

    Can you guys confirm it?
