Tomorrow June 5 @ 5:00pm PST Posted: 04 Jun 2020 07:39 AM PDT Me and my buddy, longtime Diablo 2 players from back when we were in grade 8 and high school afterwards, circa 2002 are pumped for this. I used to lug over my desktop and monitor and we would set up in his basement for all night LAN sessions, accompanied by rainbow packs of pop and cool ranch/jalapeno and cheddar Doritos. We were at our prime during patch .08. We've been on again off again players for the better part of the last 10 years, and got really into the last Diablo 3 season. Now that we've heard D2 ladder is resetting we are pumped!! Friday night reset is going to bring us right back to high school days. We are playing classic, non-exp, and he's going din and I'm going orb sorc, might transition to blizz later in Hell cs if I really care to Anyways, just wanted to share this excitement thread, and hope to see a bunch of you nephalem out there to join us!! | Posted: 04 Jun 2020 08:11 AM PDT so quick disclaimer, i love this game, but i feel like im doing something wrong. my character is a warrior, level 18 with the current build: str 72 (increased to 87 due to equipment) magic 20 (24) dex 37 (41) vit 42 (62) and using the savage sword (115% attack damage bonus), a normal buckler, arkain's valor, helm of the moon, ring of the jaguar, ring of power and amber amulet. im on the 12th level but i feel like i am dying quickly, what must i do? I am on Torment II right now, I have the infernal machines and the door won't open. I tried at the end of Act 1 (pre-ferryman) and at the start of Act 2 (Wortham and back). Any ideas? | I die on a single hit, what am I doing wrong? Posted: 04 Jun 2020 09:00 PM PDT I'm not an expert on D3 and GRs and I just get a build online, farm everything on it, and try to get as high GR as I can. So my 3 builds currently are Vyr Chantodo wiz, Shadow Impale DH, and Aegis of Valor sader. Damage-wise, I can pop enemies on GR 80-85 no problem. But my wizard and crusader just dies on anything that basically even tries to tickle them. If I step on a fire or poison pool for .00000001 seconds, I die. But I don't get why. My gear isn't fully optimized just yet, but streamers can rock unoptimized builds on GR 100 no problem. If the screen gets filled up, I just pray no one decides to attack me as I can't see anything anymore and just blast away. Is it normal to die to everything in GR80+? My crusader has 23k armor and it'll be even much more when I proc my Stone Gauntlets, but still, I die to a single touch. Any tips would be very very welcome! [link] [comments] | ||

I chose a witch doctor, but even though I have picked up clubs and swords and things, I only attack by blowing darts at people. How do I reconfigure controls to use my weapon? | Newbie 2H vs 1H weapons question Posted: 04 Jun 2020 12:00 PM PDT Hello boys and girls. Just started playing diablo 3 recently and got a question that Google didn't help me out too much with. To keep it short and sweet, when you mouse-over a 2H weapon while having two 1H weapons equipped, i get the stats comparison saying the 2H has +52% damage. | First time ever really making an end-game build and I'm really happy with it. Posted: 04 Jun 2020 07:31 AM PDT Here's the build. The one Kanai piece that's not showing is RoRG to get the full Tal Rasha's set bonus. I haven't ever really followed any of the strategy guides, so I'd usually hit a wall around Torment 7-8. I also hadn't played for a while (since before Necro expansion), so I don't know if the power curve just changed or something. This morning I finally managed to land a crit over 1 trillion damage, and can solo mid-70s GR without dying (though the Firebird will proc). The profile page doesn't seem to have all the info right, but my HP is a little over 2 million. The shields I get from Ward and Wildebeest are about 2.6 million, and I'll get another 800k from Deflection stacks, with those refreshing very quickly. Any advice on how to move it up another notch or two before the season ends? I've been grinding to try to get an ancient version of the belt. The only other non-ancient item are the bracers, but I think I'm unlikely to get much better stats, especially with the bracers hitting a perfect 100% on the shield bonus. Only other thing I've been thinking about is trying to grind for an ancient RoRG to free up a Kanai slot, but I'd give up the 50% damage bonus from Focus and Restraint, which seems like a big sacrifice. Is there a combination of a second ring+Kanai ability that would make up for losing the set bonus? [link] [comments] | ||

I was always attracted to games that gave loot in some way. However, when I tried POE, I was immediately turned off by the massive skill tree, and quit playing soon after.
