Why does Dieoxide run GoD with Manticore?

So, Dieoxide (twitch streamer and notable DH leaderboard-pusher and mechanics-tester) says he runs his GoD with Manticore as his weapon. I get that a two-handed crossbow has favorable attack speed breakpoints and superior damage-to-Hatred ratio for Strafe. What I don't get is why, specifically, he uses Manticore, instead of something like Buriza or Hellrack.

Yes, he asserts he details the reasoning in his streams somewhere, but there are dozens of hours of video and I haven't the foggiest idea where the information might be. I like reading his posts but I simply don't have time to watch that much video.

Anyone know?

I see that it raises my block % but without a block amount when not sword and boarding, it's pointless, yes?

How does one get blood bracers?

I've rolled so many shards can't get. used a simulator online too for another 20k shard never got there either. Does Kadala not give?
