I never played D2 but played a lot of D3, is the end game as good?

    Posted: 10 May 2021 10:29 AM PDT

I think the endgame of Diablo 3 is really good. But I'm worried that D2R not changing much might have a worse endgame.

Does D2R have something similar to GRRifts gems, ancients and primal, legendary gems…etc?

Code Edit to set max Resistence for monsters

    Posted: 10 May 2021 05:33 PM PDT

Hi, im search for resources on how to make immunities vanish from diablo2. in single player (with plugy).

    I already read this post
    https://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo/comments/e02hrp/any_mod_to_remove_immunities_in_diablo_2/
where the solution is a text edit of Monstats.txt but that is not enough for me, i want to make a code edit that hard caps monsters resitence to some value (85%?). Is such a thing possible? I never did code edits although i should be able to since i have a lot of experience in programming.

Just like the old days - Disciples of Baal are forgotten

    Posted: 10 May 2021 08:01 PM PDT

Normally, I'd let it go - but this guy was a dick to everyone and its just TOO funny.

Deleted all his comments after trying to talk crap and pretend he had notoriety. No one remembers him and then tells others "they have no life". Classic. LOL

    D2R Inspect Feature

Has this been mentioned anywhere? This was a great feature back in the day with MH and now in Mods. Thoughts?

2 simple things to make Diablo Crafting interesting and extend the endgame grind. 1) remove base type restriction 2) Make it pick from the magical affix pool as well

    Posted: 10 May 2021 04:39 AM PDT

It would create a much more interesting endgame grind, clearing monsters for gems and runes rather than farming bosses for uniques

Gem hoarding would be more of a thing rather than just for those wanting to reroll GC

It would allow Craft to be more interesting, most of them suck ass, they are just rare items with a little bonus and everybody knows that rare items suck and that most of those bonuses suck too

Removing the restriction is a no brainer, it's dumb limitation. You would see people trying to craft Caster Sorc Orbs, Blood Barb helm, a safety Necro shield etc. You could craft your items in you weapon, boot, glove, etc of choice, not being forced to go with X gloves for Y result

Ofc people could hit jeweller of the whale on a craft with other mods but this would be rarer than dropping a Zod rune, how many bases would you waste, how many runes and gems and jewel would you need to farm, how many attempts you would waste getting bad items because Armor pool is boring compared to what you can get through runewords and uniques. The idea of this 1in a million item would still be better than the current 0 interesting result for armor craft

It would surely dilute the OPness of Runewords, which is a good thing. It would create a better balance in the game itemization. Runeword get stuff that craft can't like +skill, dr, etc. Every item rarity would have its own perks

I know some people would say "some of those items would be BIs and it would make the game easier"... and to this I would reply mate do you know the amount of effort and tries to achieve such item... and runewords already exist to make the game easier. Give people interesting stuff to grind for in the long run and the game will last for long
