I wanna see more of those to have an actual opinion on them. I don't know how I feel what I saw during the Blizzcon. I like the idea, but I need know / see more.

Malthael on Torment 10 and higher support group for Wizards

    Posted: 15 Oct 2020 07:13 AM PDT

Fuck that guy, am I right? I can just barely get my Chantodo's stacks to 20 before I get to him because the enemies attacks leading up to him can be very hard to avoid. Even then, Malthael STILL one-shots you almost as soon as phase 2 starts. It's the only bounty I avoid doing because it just pisses me off with just how unforgiving it is.

    Graphics enhancement mods for D2?

    Posted: 15 Oct 2020 04:52 PM PDT

I really want to finally sit down and play diablo 2. Unfortunately, I can't find any updated information regarding graphics enhancements (upscaling, higher resolution, etc.) for the game. Are there any good mods for higher resolution and/or other graphics tweak available yet at least?

    D3 is in it's best-so-far state, imo

    Posted: 15 Oct 2020 08:44 PM PDT

I feel that the increase in torment levels and subsequent increase in more frequent loot drops, has significantly impacted my joy when playing Diablo 3. We have come a very long way since launch, but I do feel that the state of the game currently(excepting not having some of my favorite builds high tier) is the best that it's ever been. I just wanted to give a shoutout to the current developers for bringing some true life to the game after all that it has been through.

    Do y'all feel the same?

Hi friends, does anyone have any idea where I can get a reasonably priced Diablo 1 for Playstation? I have been itching to play couch co op with my boyfriend but I can't locate our old copy. Still have the PS and PS 2 with memory cards but no game! Thanks for the help!

BTW we are located in NYC

Where there any single player-updates?(Diablo 3)

    Posted: 15 Oct 2020 04:47 AM PDT

I'm thinking of replaying the campaign. Where there any significant single player-updates? Beside the necromancer dlc, of course. Edit: If it helps: I haven't played since 2014.

To the people that bought the Lilith statue

    Posted: 14 Oct 2020 11:01 PM PDT

Here is some advice I wish I had before putting it together.

    1. This really only applies if you plan of keeping the box. Take pictures of how the pieces fit (and send them to me). Some of pieces, especially the tail and some free floating parts of the robe on the body feel very fragile, and are a snug fit.

    2. The status come in 3, I don't know what to call them, sheets I guess, of styrofoam. The thicker of the three side contains the base and the wings. Open that side first, because there is no position or surface you will feel comfortable laying the down the body, and once that body comes out, you will not want to try to put it back in.

That's really about it. Enjoy your statue, it's even more gorgeous in person.

Edit: Also to the people that have already received their statues, has anyone found a display case that you could recommend for the statue. Almost all the ones I have found are just a hair to short.

    "Let D4 be D4"

    Posted: 15 Oct 2020 03:08 PM PDT

    Cross from r/Diablo4: https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo4/comments/jal7vw/let_diablo_iv_be_diablo_iv/

Diablo III's issues were a direct result of a development team haunted by the beloved Diablo II

"The specter of Diablo II loomed large over the team. The pressure of trying to live up to the legacy of this incredible game weighed heavily on the team and impacted so many of the decisions."

"D3 ran away from D2 and failed. So D4 should run away from D2 (and fail) again?"

What kind of logic is that?

"I've ran away from money so I've wasted it and now I'm bankrupt, so you should throw the money away from the window?" "I've ran away from oil so now my car is broken, so you should never put oil in your car?"

In my opinion, if anything should be taken from that is "Diablo 4" should be "Diablo 4", and that has two parts: "Diablo" and "4". That means a mix of 50% successful elements from the past and 50% totally new stuff. The issue was renouncing to its legacy.

What's the point of making a sequel if you want to burn everything from previous entries?

I don't expect this post to get too far given that reddit population being younger, old school Diablo fans progressively throwing the towel, or the massively positive rating of that post, that hints me that this one by me will be sunk in the mud, but whatever you prefer D2, or D3 o none, I believe that the reasoning in that post leads to the complete opposite deductions of what it tried to prove. And community made it look like the most flawless and brilliant truth in the world.

I mean, I have no problem of accepting something opposite to my tastes if it's legitly backed, but that +111 points in something that's flagrantly incorrect makes me lose hope in the chances of having any healthy rational debate. Because I think that's obvious that all those voting it are perfectly aware that they're upvoting something that fails at its root logic, so they're intentionally destroying the purpose of every debate place as this one, Reddit.

I feel like it's the death of debate. Reasons don't matter anymore.

EDIT: in order to avoid this derailing even more, here a TL;DR (so please, focus in the intention of my post)

    1. Should D4 take nothing, a minimum, several features, or many things from previous games? (Or, specifically, D2).
    2. Does anyone care about reasons or is everyone blindly defending even things that they know they're wrong?

    Release date

    Posted: 15 Oct 2020 07:57 AM PDT

I know this has probably been asked before but is there any estimate for when Diablo 4 is coming out? Like are we talking 2023 or something like 2029 or something like that?
