Fanmade Diablo Game - Diablo Respawned DEMO

    Hello everyone!

I've made a Diablo 1 Trailer remake earlier this year, and later i've posted on youtube a gameplay inspired by Diablo 2.

I got a lot of positive feedbacks so then i decided to develop a Diablo themed fanmade game that builds heavily on the content of the first three episodes.

In terms of genre, it was going to be a rogue-like arpg.

The Patreon campaign had just started, but life intervened, so I had to abandon the project.

Since there is a lot of interest around the project, potential supporters and fans, I don't want to leave them empty-handed, so I want to publish what has been made so far,

in the form of a simple, short DEMO.

During the development, my great composer acquaintance, Julian Korbl, also joined the work, creating a faithful and authentic atmosphere soundtrack

    to the world of Diablo.

The game itself is semi-finished and really short, so shortcomings and little lags are there. I wish all Diablo players an interesting and exciting wink until the next official sequels are released.

I can only recommend the work of Julian Korbl to everyone, they can be viewed via the links below: https://soundcloud.com/user-996051446

The game can be downloaded from the following link: https://gamejolt.com/games/diablorespawned/505276

I hope you'll enjoy what has been done so far, Thank you all for your support!

New to Diablo 2, need help with resolution

    Posted: 21 Sep 2020 11:21 AM PDT

Watching a streamer (Sequisha) playing D2 and it looked like fun. Download both D2 and LoD but I can't figure out how to get the game to play in a wider resolution like his. It's not stretched, and his version is 1.14. I've been at this for hours and hours now and I can't figure it out. Any help would be welcomed.

How do people rack up so many hours in diablo?

    Posted: 21 Sep 2020 02:55 PM PDT

I've been playing on switch recently, and keep reading posts of people saying they have hundreds or thousands of hours in diablo 3.

Considering it's a single player / closed multiplayer experience I can't wrap my head around how much content is in this game?

I understand the looting aspect as a time draw, and that each class having a different playstyle being another potential time consumer, but doesn't playing the same story over and over get boring?

Do the expansions / seasons add that much content?

Thanks in advance for the replies, I'm really enjoying playing but I think I'm failing to see the full scope of this game?!

Sounds stupid of me but basically I augmented my weapon and used the wrong legendary gem (now my character is weak as fuck) is there any way I can undo this and get my gem back??

How would you rank the big Diablo 2 mods?

    Posted: 21 Sep 2020 12:33 PM PDT

I.e. Median XL, Path of Diablo, etc.

Mainly just curious on how you would rank them in way of enjoyability and how fun you find them, thanks!

(P.s. can be single player focused or multiplayer focused just whatever mods you really like)

    Edit: Spelling

Is playing with only one joycon controller on the switch comfortable?

    Posted: 21 Sep 2020 04:40 AM PDT

I was thinking of getting diablo 3 to play with my boyfriend on the switch however he doesn't have one himself so we would have to share the joycon controllers. Just wondering if anyone else has done this and still enjoyed the game or if I should get another set of joycons.

Idea for a solution to Skill Damage being based off of Weapon Damage in Diablo IV

    Posted: 21 Sep 2020 02:16 AM PDT

So I was thinking about the problems with Weapon Damage determining your Skill Damage, mostly in relation to casters using maces for spells and how immersion breaking that is. So I came up with a solution I think could possibly work.

Your attack stats being used to calculate your skill damage is a good idea in theory, until your Sorceress has a mace as a stat stick because it gives more damage.

My solution is this: Weapon Attack and Magic Attack.

You could divide the weapons into two different categories: Physical Weapons would be required to use skills that are physical and the damage scales that way, and Magic Weapons such as Staffs and Wands would be required to do magic spells. This allows the developers to keep your attack stats scaled off of your weapon but it gets rid of Sorcs with axes. What are you guys thoughts?

I there a Goblin event right now?

    Posted: 21 Sep 2020 02:54 AM PDT

I had like 3 packs of Goblins in half an hour. Maybe just luck.

    I'm in Europe btw.

Edit: I was just lucky, but 3 rifts with 3 packs plus one bandit shrine was cool.

    back to Diablo 2 after YEARS! - V 1.12

    Posted: 21 Sep 2020 05:42 AM PDT

Hi Guys, was hoping someone could help.

I played Diablo at least 13 years ago last, i managed to beat Diablo on a single player run

with a frenzy barbarian build. I was around 13 at the time.

My sister uninstalled the game and deleted all files associated with it on the PC (the PC was offline).

Since then i never touched it again, mainly for the reason of not wanting to replay it, but rencetly i saw sequisha playing and the nostalgia hit me hard, i want to get back into it as im not enjoying all the other games our just now.

Is there any place i can find save files for a frenzy barbarian build i can boot up and run through?

I dont want to be max level, looking for something around just after killing baal for the first time.

    Thanks guys!
