The discussion about how D4 should looks more like D3 or D2 had been discussed so much. But I noticed that people are overlook the downside of D2 and the upside of D3. I would like to invite the community to share their opinion of this topic. The downside of D2
The upside of D3 +the combat system: I have played every popular ARPG. although they have much better ARPG SYSTEM than D3. But the combat experience of D3 are really amazing +legends power: I think it was a great design (until they makes the skill go 99999%) +the active effect of pet: although I enjoy watching my skeleton kill monsters in D2.but it feel boring that I can't do anything. Posted: 21 May 2020 07:47 PM PDT Ok i know a lot of people are going to disagree with me but does anyone feel the same way? first of all, i love the way diablo 2 was made, you have your character, you level it up, the loot system and magic find system and all. and the level cap is so high that you most likely wont make it. i wanted to play diablo 3 today and i did and its just not fun. leveling a character, (seasonal character because 99% of people are playing seasonal) gearing it up and then a month later you have to start a new one. ? I don't really find that very fun. and I don't quite understand how anyone else finds it fun. its like spending a month to paint a beautiful picture then 1 month later you have to throw it away. look yeah you get to keep your character in non seasonal. but no one plays it, its dead. I played the campaign a bit today. starting from level 1 leveled up a bit, finding loot on the ground, and actually looking at it? like in diablo 2. i mean who even does that anymore. I really hope they make the level cap for diablo 4 extremely high like in diablo 2 and change the loot system. [link] [comments] | ||

| Opinion: Diablo should keep the scroll-like cutscene Posted: 21 May 2020 05:46 AM PDT I understand the hate over the cartoonish art style of Diablo III but i think the scroll-like cutscene were a good idea for the medieval horror atmosphere. What i didn't like in d3 wr their numbers (too many) and the quality (decent in the cinematic and class intros. Terrible all the others). If this art style would be used in Diablo 4 only in few specific kind of cutscenes, like flashback or ancient lore releated videos, it could be a nice touch and become something iconic for the series. With D4 coming out, is it worth it to hop back in? Has anything changed much? Are the season "bonuses" still flops? What does the gear balance look like?
