Star Pact with LoD (icy veins)

    Posted: 22 Nov 2019 01:28 AM PST

Hello community! Today is an exciting day for season 19 launch.

I have a question about Star Pact LoD build. It looks really sexy and it's very tempting to do it, but I'm a pretty casual player. I don't push very high grifts and I don't care much about min-maxing. I do enjoy big damage and clearing my content in a satisfying manner, though.

I guess the question is whether people think this build would jive with a casual player? The "timing sensitive" part makes me doubt.

    Here's the build.

Gambling while leveling - bracers or something else?

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 07:20 AM PST

    Hello all,

Going with a barb to kick off S19 and I'm not sure if I should gamble bracers early on or something else. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

    Weekly Consolidated Gear Advice Thread

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 08:05 AM PST

To reduce clutter on this subreddit, please post your gear check questions in this thread only.

Please note that independent gear check threads will be deleted with a note to copy/paste that gear check here.

In order for others to provide useful feedback on your gearcheck, you MUST include the following information:

    • Your desired build

    • A link to your battle.net profile

    • A description or screenshot of how your paragon points are spent

    • A description of your what you want to accomplish with the gearcheck - e.g. your goals and/or problems - a grift difficulty level, ubers, a specific build or playstyle, etc.

    • An in-game screenshot of your stats with the details tab open is recommended, but not required - if we can see your dps, toughness, all resist, armor, hp, cc, cd, etc. as you see it in-game, it's easier for us to help you.

If you use printscreen and paste, it will show your desktop. But if you use printscreen and go into your Documents/Diablo III/Screenshots folder, you will find the in-game screenshot.

ANY post that does not include this information may not receive a response.

In addition, if you haven't done so already, take a look at the guides in our sidebar. Many of your questions will have been answered there.

Thank you, and may your sentries clear a path to victory!

Please note: The consolidated gear check posts are created every week (Tuesday) at approximately 2 PM GMT (7 AM Eastern)

    Confused About Monk S19

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 06:30 AM PST

It sounds like there are a bunch of bugs and gotchas with Monk this season. I don't want to build up a Monk and find out, "oh that weapon ruins the build. sorry." Can someone summarize what I can do to get the new set to work? Or will it be easier to wait for Monk in S20?

Gear independent leveling build for WD

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 12:19 PM PST

I've made this build for leveling (post 70), gear independent, to get the first rewards of Season Journey

    https://www.d3planner.com/325687108

    - Gargantuan as the main damage
    - Haunt and Hex as debuffs
    - Piranhas for grouping and debuff
    - Spirit Walk and Soul Harvest as usual
    - Passives: Grave Injustice, Spirit Vessel, Swampland (for more toughness), Midnight Feast to buff Gargantuan damage.

The Bombardment build in the sidebar

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 04:37 AM PST

I noticed that the LoN Bombardment build on the sidebar is fairly old and I haven't played D3 for almost a year. Is there a better build by now if my goal is just to ride around and throw barrels at foes while I do drive-bys, or is it still as good as it can get?

Damage from main hand, or from both weapons WW Barb?

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 09:14 AM PST

Hi guys, going to be rolling a WW Barb on HC seasonal so will be using the band of might version.

Been chatting in another post and the other guy said that WW and therefore rend damage only comes from main hand. I always thought and can find no other sources other than saying it is applied equally by both weapons when dual wielding.

Any help is appreciated and if poss a source if I am wrong.
