Posted: 03 Oct 2019 04:43 PM PDT Imagine this... all the fans at blizzcon and Kyles around the world streaming it. Ecstatic because Blizzard knows they f***ed up announcing Diablo Immortal with no news of a Diablo PC release, and the only way to repair their image is to, well, give us info on Diablo 4. Epic music queues, curtains open, screen lights up, and Decard Cain's voice slowly begins: "Througout the years, mankind has known that true freedom, an escape from from hell, can only be achieved once the demons have been vanquised!" Announcer: "Diablo Immortal is now live for the world. Thank you and good night" Oh, the Kyles would not go quietly into the night... [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Oct 2019 07:09 AM PDT I had this recipe appear in Kanai's cube, never seen that. Google only spits out blizzard forum threads from years ago, mentioning cheated items. I know for a fact that I didn't cheat (why would I lol). Anyone got an idea? Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/NozRKoW.jpg [link] [comments]

Basically th whole post was "make the followers useful", though I have no ideas for the Scoundrel...that guy needs a total rework. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Oct 2019 12:02 PM PDT Do you guys know when exactly is the Diablo mobile game coming out? I think I'm literally the only one exited for it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Oct 2019 03:06 PM PDT So I'm looking at this build It says to use the Nemesis bracers but wouldn't sanguine vambraces be a better fit? [link] [comments]
Weekly Thursday Help Desk, Ask your newbie questions here - 10/03/19 Posted: 03 Oct 2019 07:00 AM PDT Welcome to week 329 of Thursday Help Desk. This is a weekly thread for any quick/newbie/unsure questions you may have. No matter how dumb you may think the question is, now is your chance to have them answered! If you need help with your gear and build, post to the weekly Gear thread instead! Check the Commonly Asked Questions page first before posting! If you're not here to ask or answer questions, then this place is not for you. The mods will be resilient in removing posts and possibly even bans. Meta feedback about the weekly post is fine. Helpful people will be strongly considered for an ID scroll after a review of posting history. Sort by new to answer the latest questions. Older questions most likely already have answers. If you have any feedback for this specific weekly thread, just post it here or message the mods. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Oct 2019 12:10 PM PDT Just a general thought that occurred to me, seeing as I think the increased realism of ray tracing could help with the atmosphere of the game. Obviously it would come with trade offs, so do you guys think it would be worth it for them to put it in? [link] [comments]
This morning I went back to sleep and dreamed about a Diablo 4 beta release Posted: 03 Oct 2019 08:07 AM PDT In my dream I was watching blizzcon with friends and a diablo 4 beta got instantly released and we went nuts That's it for today [link] [comments]
Little Gem I Found While Watching an Interview with Diablo Creator David Brevik Posted: 03 Oct 2019 12:12 AM PDT The whole video is really interesting but the gem that stuck out to me was when David describes the first time he hit a monster with the warrior while making Diablo 1. Video link at correct time below. You can jump back a few minutes to catch the context but essentially the original Diablo was going to be turn-based with the player choosing to either walk a certain amount of tiles or an attack for their turn. Then there was a push to change the game to be an action-RPG played in real time. After they voted in this change David spent the night coding it into the game - and here's what happened next: https://youtu.be/4D_bVgplit0?t=2031 Edit: warrior not barbarian [link] [comments]
Where should I be focusing on improvement for my build? Posted: 02 Oct 2019 11:01 PM PDT I'm currently running a LoD DoD WD in progress (only 3 ancients, link: https://www.d3planner.com/880702141 ) and am a little confused as to where to put my emphasis to progress further. Currently the highest gr I can complete is a 90-91 or a 92 with some fishing. Other than just farming for more ancients, what should I focus on to get the most improvement for my time? I've been trying to get my LoD to as high a level as possible (as you can probably tell from the difference in gem levels) but due to the fact that I can't progress much higher than a gr 90 consistently, that's becoming fairly inefficient. Sorry for the rambling, but any input or suggestions would be appreciated. On a side note, if anyone has tips for how to survive the gr guardians better, those would be greatly appreciated as well because I find that if I die to them once, it's near impossible to get back on my feet before they kill me again. Would a Diablo 2 remake technically work with a modern game engine? Posted: 03 Oct 2019 03:14 AM PDT Does anyone else think that a remake wouldn't capture the original feel because of the FPS cap of the original game? If you were heavy into PvP (and most of PvE) at end-game, everything revolved around breaking and locking hit recovery, cast and attack rates of the engine. Could this be replicated somehow with modern game engines? [link] [comments] |
