    So in every guide I find, it suggests to use the archon punch to build the first couple of cycles until the beam snapshots at 5 APS for the rest of the rift, that all makes sense.

    I'm not understanding why the punch is the preferred ability against elites and the RG. Is it because the punch does 790% weapon damage and the beam does 779%?

    I know the punch's speed is dynamic, but it still can't go above 5 APS right? I also assume it would be correct to punch if you don't build enough stacks single target against RG to maintain the 5 APS snapshot, but from all the videos and guides it seems like there's some reason it's more powerful. Unless it really is just the 779% vs 790% difference.

    LoD In-Geom Garg Speed Doc

    Found this fun lazy farm build by accident, very fast, but I am wondering if it can be viable or needs modification to farm Torment 16/ GR 70~ fast.

     

    Movement: Horrify and Spirit Walk on 0 second cooldown. Fear from Echoing fury and Horrify will continuously proc Rachel Larceny. Spirit Walk Jaunt and Soul Harvest-Soul to waste to also increase movement speed to travel to next elite pack while having no unit collision and near-constant invincibility frames. Echoing Fury also providing large damage buff and speed.

     

    Pickup Radius: Thing of Deep to allow easy pickup of orbs and further cooldown reduction via more reliable Grave Injustice.

     

    The rest for damage/defense on top of LoD. Damage source is gargs, buffed by Theo, Echoing, Jeram, Yang, Enforcer etc.

     

    Please tell me how it can be improved as obviously things can be switched for more defense at the expense of speed, or for more damage, vice versa.

    What’s a good substitute for Swamp Land Waders for Seasonal LoD WoL monk?

    I've been running Inna WoL all season and seems like I've topped out my power curve, so I thought I'd switch to another build.

    I've got all the gear for LoD WoL except those not-in-season Swamp Land Waders.

    What do folks currently substitute? Icy veins is quiet on this front.

    In order for others to provide useful feedback on your gearcheck, you MUST include the following information:

    • Your desired build

    • A link to your battle.net profile

    • A description or screenshot of how your paragon points are spent

    • A description of your what you want to accomplish with the gearcheck - e.g. your goals and/or problems - a grift difficulty level, ubers, a specific build or playstyle, etc.

    • An in-game screenshot of your stats with the details tab open is recommended, but not required - if we can see your dps, toughness, all resist, armor, hp, cc, cd, etc. as you see it in-game, it's easier for us to help you.

      If you use printscreen and paste, it will show your desktop. But if you use printscreen and go into your Documents/Diablo III/Screenshots folder, you will find the in-game screenshot.

    Quick reroll question

    I got an ancient squirts necklace with a socket, 900, int, 9.5 cc, and 55% chd. The chd is so low otherwise I would instantly reroll int to cold damage for vyrs. What do you guys think?
