| Cannot Defeat Zhar the Mad in Diablo 1 (As a Sorcerer) Posted: 14 Jun 2021 07:10 PM PDT [CLOSED] It is an absolutely infuriating boss fight. Not only does his Fireball do massive damage as I make an attempt to close in on him, try to corner him so as to make him stuck in a position from where he can't phase away, but on top of it all, I just can't seem to kill him. I followed the guide, and trapped him first between the candles in front of the bookcase. There I spammed Firebolt or Charged Bolt whenever he appeared. After consuming 8 slots of mana, I still couldn't seem to make any progress, so I prompted to beat him with my stick (a Staff of Healing that deals 5-10 physical damage), as it was the case that he had decent resistance to Fire and Lightning. And just like that, an hour or so passes by. My patience was reaching its maximum tolerance level. Thus, leaving him be, I went on to explore the 9th floor. After discovering the Fireball spell (which does 42-83 without resistance effects), I took it as a sign to making him my bitch at last, but oh boy, was I wrong. Same thing happened. Cornered him (this time at the top right corner of the room) and spammed Fireball to the very end of my mana capacity. Lo and behold, dude's standing as if only the wind has scraped his bum. LIKE... WHAT? Is he bugged or something? Is his health pool 1 million? It was supposed to be 360, but I couldn't seem to create even a dent on that number. Does his health replenish somehow? Whenever I save or leave the area, does his health bar regenerate? Does his Flash attack do extreme levels of Lifesteal? Give me a goddamn reason to keep on going. Edit: Thanks to all the comments below, I've figured out the strategy to defeat him. Bought the Book of Stone Curse, used Stone Curse spell on him, and proceeded blast him with Fireball. Seems simple enough, and an obvious one for veterans, but I was occupied with the idea of taking him down without spending too much of my resources on him. Now, that he's dead, what remains of him is the Mace. Welp, that was pointless. [link] [comments] | ||

The guy telling the story sounds pretty obnoxious and it's funny more because the storyteller thinks he is funny, but really people are just laughing at how bad he is at telling the story. | A Diablo RTS game might be cool. Posted: 14 Jun 2021 08:43 PM PDT Since the never ending Sin War is the biggest defining aspect of Diablo Lore, I'm thinking there would be playable factions for each of the 7 Demon Lords and each of the 5 Arch Angels. There would be a mixture of shared units and ones unique to each faction. For example, the Fallen, Goatmen and Succubus would be shared units for all the Demon Lords, but something like the Siege Breaker would be exclusive to Azmodan, or the Minions of Destruction exclusive to Baal. And then human settlements would be things that you could capture to get bonus units. Maybe cemetaries and ruins could be captured to create zombies for Maltheal and the Demon Lords, but would provide some other kind of bonus for the Angels. I'm thinking the resources would be generated either by buildings like in Lord of the Rings Battle For Middle Earth, or Strategic Points you captures, like in Warhammer 40k Dawn of War. What do you guys think a Diablo RTS would look like if there was ever one made? [link] [comments] | ||

I installed devilutionx mod for diablo1 and now i try to install some QOL mods, but i don't understand how.. Do i have to download the code zip file? And then what i do?
