Best D2 mod right now?

With the expected announcement of a D2 remaster (and likely release date down the road), I was curious which D2 mod is best right now?

I've read about a few but also curious if I missed any. Seems like Path of Diablo and Project Diablo seemed to be the most talked about.

Are there any others and how would you guys rank them? Multiplayer is important for me (big part of the fun for these games is trade in my opinion).

What If Marius isn’t “dead”

We saw with Adria and many others that those who help the forces of evil get rewarded by become demons the self and therefor being immortal by respawning in the burning hells

What if that's the reward Baal means when he kills him in the Asillum? Letting us think it's plain old death

What if Marius comes back as a demon for helping Diablo and untrapping Baal

First D2 playthru - Mod suggestions?

I have around 1000 hrs in D3, but I wanted to try out Diablo 2 for the first time. Problem is the game is old as hell and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for mods to make it more "accessible" in 2021?

Nothing like difficulty or gameplay stuff but more graphical changes. Like ability to run it in higher resolutions etc.
