Diablo IV Feedback - Make Different Armor and Weapon types Posted: 05 Feb 2020 07:21 AM PST Hi, I think it is important to make each armor type different and unique, so for example, you could split the word armor into 3 different armor types, like **Light Armor(so light gloves, light boots, light chest etc), Medium Armor(Medium gloves, Medium boots, Medium Chest etc), and Heavy Armor(Heavy gloves, Heavy boots, Heavy chest etc)** . Then you could give these a fixed affix that always rolls a range like (100 – 300) on this type of armor. These are some examples of what each armor type could give you. **These are examples!** * Light/Cloth armor so could give you more magic resistance and it also gives you more Magic Penetration or Spell critical, but it has no armor instead. * Medium/Leather Armor gives you more dodge/evade chance and it also gives you more critical strike chance or Armor penetration, but it gives you decreases your all resistance * Heavy/Iron Armor gives you more defense than any other armor type and it also gives you more all resist, but it decreases your overall movement speed. By doing it like this where you have a pro and a con for every item type, gives you more depth and complexity, it also gives the player more choices to pick from. So every class can use any armor type, the important thing is where you want to use it depending on what you are doing, and it also complements things that you are lacking, for example, defense or resists or spell critical Let's say that you have 2 heavy armor pieces and 2 Medium armor pieces and 1 light armor piece, you choose to have 1 light armor piece because you need more defense and you don't need as much magic resistance or Magic penetration for your build. You could also do this to weapons too where every sub-weapon types have their own fixed affix roll, so a Sword could also be: Sword Examples: * Cutlass gives you 1.25 Attack speed and it also gives you more weapon dmg, but your critical chance has been decreased by X. * Long sword * Scimitar * Short Sword Axe Examples: * Hatchet * Tomahawk * Viking Axe * Double axe * Battle axe * Tactical axe This gives players more choices if each sub-weapon type has a pro and a con. This also gives the game more depth and complexity to choose what base weapon types to equip. The more depth and complexity the better the game stays relevant and fresh because it gives you as a player more things to consider into your build. The reason why I think that you need pros and cons to items is that make these items more meaningful, and it also gives you as the player that decision. The more decisions that you have to make for your character the better replayability the game gets. I'm having problems with HotA Raekor Posted: 05 Feb 2020 03:00 PM PST It feels clunky, hard to use, and weak. Especially compared to other builds. I started with Whirlwind Barb this season and it's mind numbingly easy: Press WW key, lawnmower the entire Greater Rift, Falter shouting and Wrathing for tough mobs. Immortal Kings was pretty easy too: Maintain Ancients and Wrath, Hammer everything. Might of the Earth? A little more complicated but there was a rhythm to it and it shredded mobs with ease. But Raekor? My first set was Raekor and I remember using some odd build from Icy Veins that involved maxing out Charge damage with things like Standoff and Pound of Flesh and using Rumble Slam or Boulder Toss for Fury dumps. Current top build for Raekor is the HotA build and I copied it and eventually figured out the playstyle (charge around for Elite Packs and then hammer into oblivion) but I just can't seem to get it to work. I can't build up charges fast enough for HotA spam and my damage output dwindles, I'm having issues where my character is facing the wrong way and HotA wiffs the locked on target that I'm standing next to (I'm console), I'm having points where I'm just dying even though I charged recently (BoM is cubed) and I'm at max Fury (Aquila cubed), the playstyle feels frantic and desperate, hammering the Charge key over and over to build stacks to have them disappear with just three HotAs. It feels like I'm trying to juggle so many things. While lacking the skill to juggle. If anything it makes me feel like that a variation of that older Icy Veins build would be better: Raekor with Seismic Slam. Charge five times, Rumble Slam to delete mobs. Rinse and repeat. Am I just completely off base and missing something key or what? [link] [comments] | ||

Question about farming bounties solo (non season) and dying a lot Posted: 05 Feb 2020 04:46 AM PST I am trying to find a build for monk (non season) to solo farm bounties, but all of the speed run builds I see online utilize goldwrap and boon of the hoarder / avarice band mix. I find this to be not feasible in bounties because there are too many gaps in between monster packs and the bosses all have these stupid cut scenes that take too long so my armor wears off. What should I be using the farm bounties solo as a monk? (paragaon 800~+ something) EDIT I am trying to farm t13 for these crimsons plans but I just can't find them [link] [comments] | ||

Mark of the Magi:Blizzard gains the effect of Apocalypse rune and increase its damage by 800%-1000% New orb:(or rework an orb that noone uses Cosmic Strand or The Oculus)Black Hole gains the effect of Spellsteal rune and increases Black Hole damage by %800-1000% I'm not sure about the exact numbers on the 2 new items for the sake of demonstrating the idea its good enough i guess. Years ago I played hydra with Blizzard and I really enjoyed the play style, I'm happy hydras are getting a set and items related to Hydras are getting buffed, but I fear that deathwish and eteched sigil will outshine every other hydra build and i really dont like the idea to just stand still and channel for this set.
