Does Blizzard intend to enforce anti botting?

The Russian/Asian botters are already gearing up and making shop websites. Does Blizzard intend to do anything?

Adding the outtakes from the Diablo II OST as additional optional soundtracks for D2 Resurrected

    Posted: 14 Apr 2021 04:50 AM PDT

Outtake I, II and III for the open areas of Act I. Outtake IV for some area in Act II - maybe the palace? Here is a link for the outtakes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ld-5-TyinAk&ab_channel=Dominus .

These outtakes are so good and it's such a waste that most people have never heard of them!

PS: I just realized that they could also be used as optional main menu music.

Minimum level vs. Level to Gamble

    Posted: 14 Apr 2021 07:34 PM PDT

There's some discrepancy between the three websites below. There's over 200 items that D3Planner.com has a different "required level to gamble for" listed than the minimum drop level on the other two sites. For example, Girdle of Giants:

    Level 11 on https://www.d3planner.com/game/73791/kadala

    Level 8 on https://www.diablowiki.net/Legendary

    Level 9 on https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_Legendary_Items

I'm leaning towards Diablo.Fandom, but which one is more accurate?

How do you feel about hell immunities?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2021 12:52 PM PDT

Do you think it's a good concept that you need items like infinity to progress certain areas?

Or would you prefer if 'immunity' was a 75-90% dmg reduction instead.

(Not askin Blizzard to change it, I just wonder what people think tbh)

It seems like the Amazon redesign is not going to be reverted

    Posted: 14 Apr 2021 11:14 PM PDT

As you guys might remember, back when Diablo 2 Resurrected was first revealed some of the character designs were met with criticism. The one that especially stood out was the redesign of the Amazon, which received some fair constructive criticism to say the least. The response we got back then was "The team has most definitely been seeing the feedback" and the people seemed to cool down somewhat.

Recently Diablo's official twitter account posted a comparison of the redesigned Amazon with her original sprite and concept art which has been met with similar negative feedback. But this time the official Diablo account started to defend the redesign, claiming things like "she is far more attractive than any of the mortal men", "She's a war-hardened Amazon", "She has seen the depths of Hell and lived to speak of it" and "She will turn you to pulp at any age".

It really saddens me to see this. I am totally okay with the developers having a new vision for a new game, such as Diablo 4, but what I am totally not okay with is attempting to inject their vision into a 20-year-old game.

Although he is a bit controversial sometimes, Mark Kern, one of the producers of the original game, put it in a good way: "It's a raw fantasy setting. Gothic and extreme. To change it is to make a different game.". He also claimed that "The Amazon was always revealing. In fact, we fought hard to keep it that way as part of the them, as there was some push to change it, even back then." and in the end "The deliberate, hard won, creative decision to have an adult, dark fantasy content has had its sharp corners rounded off and made safe for who, exactly?".

I really hope the team reconsiders their decision.

(D3) (DH) god or multishot for faster/higher rifts?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2021 05:11 PM PDT

Came back to the season missing the fun UE DH Build. But noticed it's not really the best anymore and god came up which I've never played.

    Should I switch to it?

Also is impale still viable ?

    Thanks all

If we were invited to the first Alpha Test of D2R, if they have another one, will we automatically be in?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2021 10:34 PM PDT

The reason I am asking this question is because I'm a complete moron and didn't realize I got a alpha test invite until just now, because I'm brainless and completely forgot about that email address, and if they have any other testing I would love to ACTUALLY play this time...

I have seen the horrors that lie beneath the earth. I have felt the icy breath of darkness upon my skin, and have been gripped by the skeletal talons of death itself. What prayer can ever heal the bleedingmarks of Terror’s embrace?

    When do "Random Lists" Reset.

    Posted: 14 Apr 2021 07:49 PM PDT

    Preface: We play on PS4.

So yeah. Kadala's and Zulton's things are "random", but not really. They always do the exact same thing even when leaving the game (of course leaving and going back resets all other forms of RNG in the game.).

Now we know that the list eventually changes what things will be on their list of "random things", but honestly. We do everything solo, and spending a whole day or even a week to grind out the needed materials for Zoltun's things is going to be rediculous, while Kadala's is a literal chore in what's supposed to be a fun game.

So anyone know when the lists on those two reset?

We know Shopkeeper's reset every 15 minutes, but we've tried doing a few bounty runs and coming back to them on in an hours time and they still had the same junk.

    Help with D1 mod patches?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2021 04:52 PM PDT

Forgive me if this is the wrong sub or a silly question. I'm a little confused and not sure what to search to figure this out.

A few weeks ago I saw the Diablo 1 mod (Belzebub) recommended in old threads on this sub. I found a blog entry about where to download it and did so (link below). I did not realize at the time that the entry was dated November 2018.

I have put in a good bit of time to this version already. I stopped to look up recommendations for my class (necromancer) and noticed the skills listed (raise skeleton, raise zombie, corpse explosion, etc.) do not match those of my character. I only have "Dark Pact," which I can't find reference to online.

Is this the same game? Is there a way to download patches to update it? If yes, can I save my character somehow?

    Blog whose instructions I followed - https://quasit.blogspot.com/2018/11/diablo-1-hd-mod-belzebub.html

Is Diablo 3 Eternal collection worth it on 2021?

    What killed Diablo 3?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2021 05:33 PM PDT

4 player multiplayer, kept nerfing the best farming practices, no pvp, stupid story that you don't want to play through again, lack of meaningful npc interactions, mechanics not based on kiting and not rewarding skills, extremely high difficulty in the beginning that just didn't reward your mechanical skills, but your farming and trading skills, unlimited leveling. Not sure why they hired a guy who never played and loved Diablo 2 as much as I did.
