Finding an item in 3 vs 2.

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 02:48 PM PST

The simple task of finding that one special item that has the stats you're looking for just feels so much better and satisfying in 2 is better then 3 imo.

The damage output in 3 with damage in the millions seems ridiculous for real...

When you find an item in 2 you're like !! Excited, much aroused like woah. In 3 it's like ....k.

Anyone else feel me? Or have you not touched 2 to experience it????

The fight you didn't know you needed to witness

Anybody else baffled by the communities hypocrisy when it comes to D:I?

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 05:13 PM PST

When the game was announced the majority of the community hated it, made fun of Blizzard, downvoted the trailers to hell and talked shit for months. There haven't been any big changes since, the game is still mobile only with a F2P/P2W model, yet most people are now hyped for it.

I think that's really weird and silly. Like it's obvious that people aren't really as opposed to the game itself, but just mindlessly jumped on a meme bandwagon without forming their own opinion.

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 06:20 AM PST

Longtime player of D2 and wen HAM on D3 wen it released on consoles (no pc then) but I'm looking to play D3 again. On pc this time. Wondering if it's all hacked to shit, and even worth playing. I love the jump in jump out game but not if there's people basically playing god mode in their lobbies. Thanks

    PTR? Mid-season event? Anything?

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 01:29 AM PST

We are 2 months into this season and so I guess we should expect PTR and/or the mid-season event like double bounty mats or double goblins soon. Also, I am sure that everyone would like to see what is coming next in terms of balance changes and seasonal theme. Anyway, what are your estimates for the next PTR round dates?

D3 would have been received better if it had less Volumetric Lightning

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 05:51 AM PST

I know D3 had and has many issues in its core design, but if D3 would not have these bright shiny neon colors and the Volumetric Lighting Effects that make it look as if the air itself is glowing would have been reduced significantly, I think it would have been received better in regards to its art style.

    Here are a few examples:

    Example #1

    With Volumetric Lighting:

    With less Volumetric Lighting:

    With less Volumetric Lighting:

    With less Volumetric Lighting:

    Example #4

    With Volumetric Lighting:

    With less Volumetric Lighting:

Before anyone asks, the first 3 images are taken from the website of a shader which used these images to illustrate the effect of the shader, but I will NOT link or name the shader, and neither do I use it.

I hope that there is gonna be a lot less of this volumetric lightning effects in D4.

    But what do you think?
