Theorycraft Build - LoD Electrocute Manald Heal Wizard

This is sort of an oddball build that I came up with after exploring synergies in the wizard's kit and gear to exploit, and just off of the sheet, it seems incredibly strong and worth testing.

The general premise is to dedicate most of your slots to defensive CDs and supporting abilities, while fitting all of your damage into your Electrocute Signature Spell with item synergies, particularly those that work off of Lightning damage. Manald Heal provides an insane damage spike off of Paralysis. Your defense is covered by the shielding and CC synergies in your kit, as well as your CDs.

It very much seems to be very heavily front-loaded into damage and might be a bit of a glass cannon, but I find glass cannon builds, particularly unique glass cannon builds, to be extremely fun and fulfilling.

You can check the build out here. This is full endgame rolls and the best possible rolls, IMO, for each piece. Please tell me what you think, and if you find it interesting, please test it out. Thanks!

    Weekly Question/Gear Thread - Week 45, 2019

    Posted: 10 Nov 2019 10:32 PM PST

Ask simple questions and/or get gear help in this thread!

If you are asking for help with gear, either include a d3planner link, your battle.net profile, or screenshots of the items you want to compare.

Creating your own thread is still acceptable but we advice you to try here atleast!

Does the new set play as clunky as Rolands for solo play (never tested it in ptr)?
I've played a few season of condemn and lon/lod-blessed shield (doing 110+ in HC).
If nothing changes the free set is Rolands and the read on icy-veins for Shield bash was not encouraging.
"This build is ranked as a Low Tier solo pushing build for its class in the current Season.
If you are looking to challenge yourself with an unorthodox, but still very viable build to complete the Season Journey with, consider using this build."
Lod Blessed shield is a bit short on cdr without the blue circles in hc for my taste otherwise I can see it as an option to get the lod gem asap and stay on that.
Maybe just farm the condemn stuff is the way to go? Herd all the crap together and get the streak bonuses to explode on the elite packs.
(I know very well it's probably more optimal to just start dh/wiz/monk but I'd prefer not to.)
